Confluence of Reaps Water and Graining Water
Reaps water is the runoff from the Gorple reservoirs, although probably existed long before they were constructed. The two footbridges allow the Pennine Way to pass this point; the path looks like an old packhorse route (possibly giving rise to the name of the nearby inn) and would probably have crossed the water via stone bridges.
