NO4481 : Badadarrach

taken 10 years ago, near to Auchronie, Angus, Great Britain

The lower slopes of Badadarrach, a mixture of heather and rocks. In the foreground the heather has been burnt, probably last year, to encourage the growth of new heather and, in turn, provide food for the resident grouse population.
In the vicinity a lot of heather had been burnt within the last day or two.
