SE1222 : Tag Cut Canal Basin

taken 10 years ago, near to Rastrick, Calderdale, Great Britain

Tag Cut Canal Basin
Tag Cut Canal Basin
The photograph is taken looking down the old canal to Tag Cut Lock, marked on the 1:25,000 OS series maps. The increase in width of the canal to form a basin for the wharf is clearly visible. The wharf loading platform is just out of view to the right. Signs nearby warn of 'Deep Water'.
