No 10 Cathedral Close, Exeter
The central building was formerly the residence of the Archdeacon of Barnstaple, and until recently, was the residence of the Bishop of Crediton. The range fronting the close is C17. The splendid doorway, hidden in shadow in this view, leads into a medieval interior. To the left, no 9 is a similar courtyard building. The buildings also appear in SX9292 : Cathedral Close, Exeter.
