These supports with the dangling co-ax cables are all that remains of the Cambridge Low-Frequency Synthesis Telescope, now decommissioned. Built in 1980, each pole carried a steerable group of 4 yagi aerials. It was used for the surveys of radio sources designated 6C, 7C and 8C.
