NN8871 : Ach Mhairc Mhoir

taken 13 years ago, near to Druim a' Chait [hill or Mountain], Perth And Kinross, Great Britain

Ach Mhairc Mhoir.
Ach Mhairc Mhoir.
At the mouth of the narrow Glen Mhairc, limestone is exposed attracting agricultural development. Sadly the township was cleared and the area is now uninhabited.
This ruin is probably from a later era, being quite substantial. There are many ruins and piles of stones here.
