SX1186 : River Camel

taken 10 years ago, 3 km from Camelford, Cornwall, Great Britain

River Camel
River Camel
The Camel, not more than a stream at this stage of its development, flows towards the camera, passing under a dead end lane to farms at Hendra, Trela and Trevilla. A small drain enters from the left. The black bales at top left are being stored along the disused North Cornwall Railway line between Wadebridge and Launceston, which follows the west side of the Camel valley here.
