The Mill Pond - 2
Looking westwards up the Golden Valley. The pond is a good situation for bird watching, with plenty of water birds close to woodland, hillside and meadow species, including Kestrel, Raven, Buzzard, Turtle Dove, Stonechat, Green Woodpecker, Meadow Pipit and various Warblers. Butterflies are also common, including the Marbled White, Small Heath and Small Copper. Because of its easy access, the site is often used by disabled bird watchers and for picnics.
