TQ0000 : High Tide, Atherington Beach

taken 10 years ago, near to Climping, West Sussex, Great Britain

High Tide, Atherington Beach
High Tide, Atherington Beach
The blustery winds and high spring tides have bought the sea right up to the top of the beach. The effect is caused by the sea hitting a wooden sea wall and the water escaping through the gaps in the wood.

Compare with the scene at low tide five hours later, TQ0000 : Low Tide, Atherington Beach.
