SU2306 : Deer pelvis, South Oakley Inclosure, New Forest
3 km from Burley Lawn, Hampshire, Great Britain

Deer pelvis, South Oakley Inclosure, New Forest
The north-east corner of South Oakley Inclosure has been cleared of its conifers and surrounded by a two-metre high fence to keep deer out while the area regenerates. Somehow a deer got in and died here, the bleached white bones of its skeleton scattered around the path near the edge of the inclosure.
