The Priest's House, Muchelney
The Priest's House dates from the C14 and later, and has been much altered since. First mentioned in 1308, it was said to be in a ruinous state by the early C17. It is so named as it was traditionally the residence of the vicar or curate until about 1840. It was acquired by the National Trust in 1911.
