Talbot's well at Linton Hill
Talbot's well at Linton Hill
This well and an old village pump lie below the red sandstone ridge upon which the linear settlement of Linton Hill is based. A number of footpaths converge at the well confirming its importance in days gone past. Locals now have water on tap or seek something stronger at "the Alma" in nearby Linton.
