Spreacombe Mine
Spreacombe Mine
Rowan berries frame the remains of the short lived Spreacombe mine. This area was mined for iron ore 1872-75. Possibly associated with the construction of the nearby Ilfracombe-Barnstaple railway that opened in 1874.
