taken 9 years ago, near to Hirnant [water Feature], Ceredigion, Great Britain

Clear fell at the western edge of Tywi Fechan forest
Clear fell at the western edge of Tywi Fechan forest
Most of the western rim of the forest has been felled recently. The ground is very boggy, which may explain why no new trees have been planted. A small patch of conifers in the middle distance has for some reason been worked around. The moorland ridge in the background is Cefn y Cnwc.
