The start of a steep descent through woods to Mill Bay Cove. The climb up to woods on the far side of the valley is equally steep. The plaque commemorates Lt-Colonel H Jones, VC, OBE, who perished in the Falklands campaign; this section of coast path was opened in 1984, in his memory
