Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway in Bledlow (2)
Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway in Bledlow (2)
Viewed looking in the direction of Princes Risborough from the pedestrian crossing east of West Lane, this is a straight section of the preserved Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway. The line was originally the branch line to Watlington from Princes Risborough, opened in 1872, closed to passenger traffic in 1957, and to freight traffic, for the Chinnor Cement Works, in 1989.
