SO3404 : View of Kemeys Commander

taken 16 years ago, near to Kemeys Commander, Monmouthshire/Sir Fynwy, Wales

View of Kemeys Commander
View looks eastwards towards All Saints Church in the centre of the village of Kemeys Commander. In the foreground are some WW2 "dragons teeth". These concrete anti-tank obstacles have almost certainly been moved from their original defensive position protecting a point somewhere along the nearby river Usk. The 5 white mini-barns in this agricultural area house young calves protecting them from the worst of the winter weather.
