Presumably for maintenance purposes, this building provides cover and access to the immense shafts dropping vertically almost to the level of the bottom power station.
Llyn Stwlan
The top reservoir of Ffestiniog Pumped Storage Scheme, which is held in place by Stwlan Dam, a highly visible local landmark (when it's not foggy).
Stwlan Dam
Large concrete Dam constructed in the 1960s to hold back Llyn Stwlan which is the top reservoir for Ffestiniog Power Station.
