The towermill is located in the yard of what used to be Home Farm, in Mill Road; it was a 47 foot, five storey tarred brick mill, built around 1870 for Joshua Harper, who was a farmer and a dyer. It was one of the last towermills to be built in Norfolk and had a boat shaped cap, four patent sails and a fan, and a stage that was set around the second floor.
