Uamh nan Lasgairean
Uamh nan Lasgairean
Former sea cave now lifted well above sea level by isostatic uplift, the land rebounding after being depressed by the weight of an icecap. The cave is in the side of a deep cleft that would have been a sea filled zawn at one time. The rock is quartzite.
