SK4931 : Trent Lock
Long Eaton, Derbyshire, Great Britain

Trent Lock
The southern end of the Erewash Canal. Trent Lock has long been a popular destination for days out and the canalside hamlet boasts two pubs and a tea shop. The Steamboat Inn, the second building on the right in this picture, was originally built by the canal company in 1791 as the Erewash Navigation Inn; it enjoys a superb position by the lock.
