Eastern side of Kimmeridge Bay from Hen Cliff
Looking down into the eastern side of Kimmeridge Bay from the coastal footpath, just west of the recently re-positioned Clavell Tower. The prominent ledge projecting into the bay in the centre of the photograph is Maple Ledge. The car park on top of the cliff is open to the public, although a toll is levied to use the access road from Kimmeridge village. In 1999 two elderly women died, and two were seriously injured, when their car accidentally went over the cliff and fell onto the beach below.
