Pilmuir Doocot
A lectern doocot, built in 1624, contemporary with Pilmuir House. The house is a laird's house built by William Cairns and his wife, Agnes Brown. It remains practically as it was in the time of the Cairns. The doocot has a slate roof with 15 entrance holes and nests for 1000 pigeons.
