York Minster
York Minster
A view of the Minster from the eighth floor of the Park Inn Hotel. SE6051 : The Park Inn Hotel

Is this the largest gothic cathedral in Northern Europe?
Looking on the internet the Minster website makes this claim.
Another website claims it is Cologne Cathedral.
I measured the perimeters of both on Google Earth.
Minster measured 568 metres and Cologne measured 452 metres.
This may also be judged on volume, I do not have those figures.
