High Raise from Codale Head
High Raise from Codale Head
High Raise is the highest fell in the area, and the parent fell to the more famous Langdale Pikes. This view from the minor summit of Codale Head includes a rusty fence post, the fence once marking parish boundaries and running along a major watershed between waters eventually running into either Thirlmere or Windermere.
