Deer, Woburn Abbey
Deer, Woburn Abbey
This fine collection of deer was munching contentedly on the grass of Woburn Abbey. Straggly bits of "velvet" hung from many of the antlers, indicating that they had been freshly grown for the Spring and that rutting season would soon be here. (See also SP9633 : Deer in front of Park Farm, Woburn Abbey) for more straggly velvet !
