The end of the road
Guy Lane comes to an end at the side of the A1[M]. It once connected Marton le Moor with the old A1, but this has now been ripped up in favour of a motorway. The southbound carriageway of the old A1 [beyond the motorway in photo] now does service as the A168. To the left of the electricity pole is a white smudge on the distant hillside. This is the Kilburn White Horse, about 10 miles away.
