Carolan's memorial / Cloch cuimhneacháin Uí Chearbhalláin
Toirdhealbhach Ó Cearbhalláin - Turlough O'Carolan - born in Co. Leitrim in 1670, was one of the last and most renowned of the traditional Irish itinerant harper-poets. He is buried at Kilronan, Co. Leitrim, but this monument in the national cathedral of St Patrick was placed by one of his aristocratic admireres.
