TQ0627 : River Arun

3 km from Billingshurst, West Sussex, Great Britain

River Arun
River Arun
This is the new cut made when the Wey and Arun Junction Canal was constructed between 1815-23 in order to cut out a meander and avoid building a couple of aqueducts. The canal is beyond the foliage to the left and runs parallel to it until Loves Furze.
