Sort of gate/stile, Warfield
These are popular within the Bracknell Forest unitary authority, but I've not come across them elsewhere. The metal poles are pulled apart, allowing enough room for you to step through and over the wooden base. The poles return to their original position by virtue of gravity, but are held slightly apart by horizontal chains. They are manufactured by British Gates and Timber of Biddenden, Kent.
