Holy Trinity; the parish church of Pleshey
This is not the original church, it is a replacement built by Chancellor in 1868. It stands on the same foundations of the original church and the only parts left from the old church are the north, south and west crossing arches that are of c.1400. The unusual church plan is due to a college of priests at Pleshey in 1393. This view is from the village hall car park.
