Taken from the point where the usual route turns left to descend brutal slopes to Loch an Daimh. The trace of a path following the line of the old fence down the ridge suggests that there might be a better way, and a glance at the 1:25000 map suggests that this could be so. Glen Lyon stretches away into the distance, with the Carn Mairg group of hills on the left.
