Motorists crossing Suffolk using the A140 should take care. From the map it looks as though it should be a fast, easy route. However, the maximum speed allowed on the road is 50 mph all the way way from here to the Norfolk border near Diss, with various 30 mph and 40 mph limits too. Prior to the restrictions it had been a bad route for accidents.
