At a site adjacent to the A386, north of Plymouth, the affectionately known "Green Hut (Cafe)" occupied a location sat alongside a former cattle grid marking the boundary between 'hedged-in land' (to the south) and the unfenced moor to the north. Over time however the road has become busier, the cattle grid removed, the moors 'fenced-in' and the 'hut' replaced by the far grander "Dartmoor Diner"
