A pill-box built for the defence of RAF Bodorgan
This is a gem of a pill box. It is designed for a multi-weapon defence of the airfield, using mortars as well as machine guns. Its elaborateness reflects the fact that RAF Bodorgan had a Battle Group lodger unit charged with providing infantry training for RAF personnel with the aim of defending airfields from terrestrial as well as aerial attack.
