Park Square is a large roundabout on the A61, this segment of which forms part of the city ring road. Joining here is the A57, the main arterial road that links the city with the M1. Recent upgrades and newly built roads, which will change the course of the ring road north of here, require that the yellow temporary sign direct traffic along the new route.
