Stratford, Newham, Great Britain

Waterworks River in Stratford
To the west of Stratford the River Lee bifurcates and three braids to the main river have developed. They are, from east to west, Waterworks River, City Mill River and Pudding Mill River. This is Waterworks River viewed from the Bridgwater Road bridge. A train from Liverpool Street bound for Stratford trundles across the far railway bridge.
