GeoGraph - photograph every grid square

This farmland is just to the west of the Grantham Canal with the curving hedgerow marking its course. The land is about 5 to 10 metres lower than the water level in the canal. This photograph was taken at the bottom of the retaining embankment through a gap in the hedge.

To follow this walk of about 6 miles along the canal and public footpaths, park in the village of Redmile somewhere near the Peacock Inn and walk north west out of the village to the bridge where you can gain access to the tow path.
