In 2008, due to the road works associated with the introduction of trams into Edinburgh , the Edinburgh 10K race took a new route. This is a photograph of runners lined up on Melville Drive ready to cross the start line. It is a very hilly course but enjoyable.

I finished in 57 mins, my slowest time ever, but training has been minimal this year!
