A heap of dressed stone
These rectangular blocks of stone are marked as Black Meg on the Ordnance Survey first edition of 1838 but are also referred to as St George's Rock. They are only exposed during low water and appear to be of dressed stone > Link. There is no explanation as to how, why and when they ended up in this location.
