SK8136 : A circular walk from Redmile, (32)
near to Muston, Leicestershire, Great Britain

A circular walk from Redmile, (32)
The Grantham Canal south east of Easthorpe Road. The water is very clogged up with large drifts of Fool's Watercress, a vigourous green water weed. The ground rises to the right behind the hedge and the canal hugs the 45 metre contour.
To follow this walk of about 6 miles along the canal and public footpaths, park in the village of Redmile somewhere near the Peacock Inn and walk north west out of the village to the bridge where you can gain access to the tow path. Photographs taken along the length of the walk are collected here: Link
