This part of the main ring road has recently been replaced and is not now a through route. Previously it was a busy one-way system with traffic coming towards us along Blonk Street (right) and away from us along Castlegate (left). The River Don flows between the two, and the little public convenience at the junction has been derelict for at least 15 years, now dwarfed by the building under construction behind it.
