Old Pilchard Cellars
This is one of the decaying buildings built along the shoreline to the east of Kingsand which were used to process and pack pilchards caught by the local fishing fleet. The pink coloured rock which extends eastwards along the shoreline from Kingsands is an igneous rock called felsite.
