The garage was opened in 1939 by the London Passenger Transport Board and this is the main exit out onto the A4089 Ealing Road. It has a capacity for 130 buses. From a purely Geograph point of view (another dedicated interest!) the bus garage straddles both this grid square and TQ1783, with the bulk of it in the other square. However this corner is definitely in TQ1883, and the 518000 Easting grid line probably passes somewhere through the left side of the opening.
