D1133 : Breen forest near Ballycastle (1)
4 km from Cape Castle, Ireland

Breen forest near Ballycastle (1)
Breen forest covers about 1,500 acres of conifer and deciduous woodland. Part of it includes the type of woodland thought to have covered NE Antrim before the widespread felling of the 17th and 18th centuries. Much of the hidden area to the left is planted with young conifers, apparently for eventual sale as Christmas trees.
