Walton Road crossing
Walton Road crosses the back of the racecourse. Note the fibresand to provide softer going for horses on the course, the padded post to reduce the likelihood of injury to scatty horses in training being ridden along Walton Road, and the guiderails on the course itself, to discourage riders and cyclists from riding on the grass. To north: TQ2158 : Walton Road; to south: TQ2157 : Walton Road.
