Killally House, Co. Louth
Little now remains of this large two-storey L-shaped farmhouse, the only building shown in the townland of Killally on the 1st edition OS six-inch map surveyed 1835. There are references to the manor of Killally at least from 1375; in 1656 to 'Killally with a fair stone house' and, on an estate map of 1774, to 'an old house greatly out of repair'. The porch and windows are early-19th century additions. The brick chimney stacks replace earlier chimney outshots on the gables.
