NZ2276 : Blagdon Hall Gates

taken 13 years ago, 3 km from Seaton Burn, North Tyneside, Great Britain

Blagdon Hall Gates
Blagdon Hall Gates
Blagdon Hall was built between 1735 and 1752 by Matthew White, a Newcastle merchant, whose descendants, the Ridley family, still live in the hall. The setting sun has made this view of the gates rather more forbidding than they actually are!
