Former police station, Belfast (1)
Built in 1878, to a design by father and son Thomas and Anthony Jackson, as a hospital for sick children. Later acquired as a police barracks, Queen Street police station closed almost ten years ago. It now awaits redevelopment. The building on the left was once the gas office (in the days of town gas). That on the right is the National Club displaced by the building of the Castle Court.
