ST7773 : The top of the valley

The top of the valley
This is the top end of a valley which eventually drops down to Batheaston in the south. At this point the valley is dry (although there are a few very boggy patches) but there are many springs and these accumulate to form St Catherine's brook which is a tributary of the river Avon.
